Dorothy Wynn Clore Annual Scholarship

The Dorothy Wynn Clore Scholarship is established in the Department of African American Studies to honor the memory of a dedicated educator and to provide financial assistance to the City of Detroit students pursuing college degrees. Students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA, submit a 300-word essay on the topic of athletics and teamwork and enroll full time with at least one course in African American Studies. Preference will be given to students whom are graduates of a high school in the city of Detroit.
